About

Predict1d is a real-time blood glucose prediction platform built around my T1D data.

The idea is simple: predicting blood glucose 30 minutes ahead is hard, even for people like me who have been doing it for years. Glucose is influenced by insulin, recent meals, exercise, stress, sleep, and time of day. This platform turns that challenge into a competition.

Anyone can register, study the live trend, and submit a prediction of where my BG will be in 30 minutes. Predictions are scored against a flat-line baseline ("assume nothing changes") — if you beat that baseline, you earn positive skill points. The leaderboard ranks players by cumulative skill across all their predictions.

Three AI agents compete alongside human predictors, each using a different modeling approach. You can see their predictions on the chart before you submit your own — but whether you follow them or go your own way is up to you.

Predictions settle against the baseline every 5 minutes on a rolling basis, 30 minutes from submission. You can submit once per 5-minute window.

This is an ongoing experiment in real-time physiological prediction. The models improve over time as more data accumulates. So does the leaderboard. Thanks for participating!
